The data model is the client-specifi c   model required for the Active Workspace
Client feature.  It is installed as the Active Workspace extension to the
Corporate Server using Teamcenter Environment Manager (TEM).

. H7 b9 Z: A) t( L! qThe awc.war file    is an additional deployment.  This fil e    is generated and
& p! J$ |7 e3 sconfigured    by selecting the Active Workspace Client solution in TEM, with all
features that contribute to the Active Workspace Client.
" g! [# P' A- \8 f/ s& z  TThis .war file   can be deployed on the same application server that hosts the
! G8 t5 }9 k& N9 O. K% y; H$ rTC.ear file   and the Teamcenter J2EE middle tier. This is the user facing web
0 L+ [( a9 p* {* B& j* k& Papplication and serves as the host to web proxies that connect to the existing
4 O4 J2 O, g( p$ o; G6 x3 nTeamcenter SOA and File Services. You must deploy the awc.war fil e   on an
existing server, much like the traditional Teamcenter web client (J2EE middle
+ i2 s' v2 r- w& m' L6 O& ytier).

2 y# e: ]! E+ Q9 f9 fThe Active Workspace Client delivers 3D visualization throUGh a pool of
rendering servers. Each server runs a single Visualization Server Manager
. J4 K+ C5 W" D( C! S  o- _+ ?component, which manages as many VisServer rendering processes as required.
For Active Workspace Client 2.0, only a single rendering server is supported.
, t7 [3 K- Q; z9 R" V- DNote       You cannot run the Visualization Server Manager on a virtual machine
1 d' N0 g7 ^& n2 s2 C& Gas it requires hardware graphics support.

This is a 4-tier client used to export Teamcenter data for importing into the
# X, a/ p( h# F9 WSolr database. It uses Dispatcher to execute Query, TieExport, Transform
  o8 ~9 T: l' S: Y0 Iand load operations.  This is installed and configured    by selecting the Full
. v* P0 I' X2 {( l% s) k5 i9 EText Search Indexer feature in TEM, and by installing Dispatcher with
tcftsindexer_queryuids, tcftsindexer_tieexport, tcftsindexer_transform,
: z1 T3 G( l! ^; Uand tcftsindexer_load services. The TcFTSIndexer is run directly for the
) a" ^( @8 p! X3 J8 f1 I: Tinitial indexing and run periodically (scheduled) for subsequent updates.

A Solr database is required for storing Teamcenter data for full-text search. This
can be an existing deployment or installed specifically    for use by the Active
Workspace Client. If an existing installation is used, there are configuratio n    and
schema changes required to accommodate the Teamcenter data.
