Client feature.  It is installed as the Active Workspace extension to the

2 G# z8 ]) W- r+ b" C) X7 w( X! c/ zThe awc.war file    is an additional deployment.  This fil e    is generated and
3 d; C- V2 _6 G% k6 L! d' t. rconfigured    by selecting the Active Workspace Client solution in TEM, with all
9 F. T* Z% q- N2 F$ Bfeatures that contribute to the Active Workspace Client.
. J' l. U+ Z5 @1 eThis .war file   can be deployed on the same application server that hosts the
TC.ear file   and the Teamcenter J2EE middle tier. This is the user facing web
8 ^4 T! Q* W3 ]8 k3 p1 o4 ?7 I+ ]0 Qapplication and serves as the host to web proxies that connect to the existing
6 ]+ b+ [- p$ x  U5 D5 X' y0 LTeamcenter SOA and File Services. You must deploy the awc.war fil e   on an
existing server, much like the traditional Teamcenter web client (J2EE middle
tier).
•    Visualization Server Manager
The Active Workspace Client delivers 3D visualization throUGh a pool of
6 ]- P6 J- e/ O. O1 }4 Zrendering servers. Each server runs a single Visualization Server Manager
, X# Z; r( ^6 u3 D! F% h5 j8 p% tcomponent, which manages as many VisServer rendering processes as required.
For Active Workspace Client 2.0, only a single rendering server is supported.
  A( {5 g- O, d4 ENote       You cannot run the Visualization Server Manager on a virtual machine
as it requires hardware graphics support.

•    TcFTSIndexer client
This is a 4-tier client used to export Teamcenter data for importing into the
Solr database. It uses Dispatcher to execute Query, TieExport, Transform
+ S# |/ x3 m7 s6 j. uand load operations.  This is installed and configured    by selecting the Full
Text Search Indexer feature in TEM, and by installing Dispatcher with
$ `- ^! ?$ n4 U2 v9 x# Ctcftsindexer_queryuids, tcftsindexer_tieexport, tcftsindexer_transform,
and tcftsindexer_load services. The TcFTSIndexer is run directly for the
2 @% T& W  {" l2 v. [initial indexing and run periodically (scheduled) for subsequent updates.
7 F/ }1 i" r: N9 _0 A! p6 \•    Solr database
7 V# s- a# i% G% d/ E/ M/ s3 a9 BA Solr database is required for storing Teamcenter data for full-text search. This
can be an existing deployment or installed specifically    for use by the Active
5 ?0 a7 }- r, m( _0 O7 \! tWorkspace Client. If an existing installation is used, there are configuratio n    and
4 ^( s1 ?; k; D* zschema changes required to accommodate the Teamcenter data.
