If you start NX in a Teamcenter two-tier environment from a command prompt (not launched from the Teamcenter client), then it starts a command prompt window to start the CORBA IMR Services, which is where the TCserver process is started.

You can turn off the command prompt window by setting the following:

• UGII_APISERVER_WINDOW_STARTUP=NOWINDOW

Or you can start the window minimized by setting the following:

• UGII_APISERVER_WINDOW_STARTUP=MIN
